The Twin Cities dominate. Minneapolis and St. Paul, with the ring of suburbs around them, account for the great majority of Minnesota's members. St. Cloud and the towns up Highway 10 come next, then Rochester and Mankato to the south, with a thin scatter all the way north to Duluth, Brainerd and Bemidji.
Couples outnumber single men, and both groups skew older than in most states, with a solid share past 65.

St. Cloud and the north metro
St. Cloud, Elk River, Anoka and Cambridge, following Highway 10 and I-94 out of the cities.

Rochester, Mankato and Austin, out in the farm country.
Up north
Duluth on the lake, Brainerd and Bemidji in the lakes country, and Fergus Falls to the west.
Getting around: From the Twin Cities, I-94 reaches St. Cloud in about an hour and I-35 gets to Duluth in two and a half, while US-52 takes ninety minutes to Rochester.
Meeting up: most Minnesota meets happen inside the metro, where everything is within a half-hour drive. Outside it, be realistic about winter roads before planning anything far from home.
