Metro Detroit is home to most of Michigan's members, from the city out to the northern and western suburbs. West Michigan, around Grand Rapids and down toward the lakeshore, is the next group, and mid-Michigan fills in between.

Detroit with Oak Park, Hamtramck, Lincoln Park, Redford and Farmington, out to Waterford and Walled Lake.
West Michigan
Grand Rapids and Wyoming, Muskegon on the lakeshore, and south to Battle Creek and St. Joseph.
Mid-Michigan
Lansing, Flint and Grand Blanc, Saginaw, Jackson and Mount Pleasant.
Up north
A few members around Big Rapids and Grayling, toward the top of the Lower Peninsula.
Getting around: Lansing and Grand Rapids are strung along I-96 west of Detroit, about two and a half hours end to end, with Muskegon past that on the lake. Flint, Saginaw and Grayling line up on I-75 heading north, and I-94 handles the southern tier through Jackson and Battle Creek.
Meeting up: Metro Detroit sprawls, so a match that looks local can still be an hour's drive. Check the distance before things get serious.
