Where Oxfordshire members are

Oxford accounts for close to half of the county's members, from the city centre out through Headington, Cowley and Summertown. Banbury and Bicester in the north, Witney and the Cotswold edge in the west, and Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage in the south make up the rest, with a scattering in the villages between.

Single men are twice as numerous as couples here, and there's a respectable number of single women, many of them over 50.

Banbury and Bicester

Banbury and the villages around it, Bicester, Chipping Norton and Woodstock.

Witney and the west

Witney, Carterton, Shrivenham and Coxwell, out toward the Cotswolds.

Abingdon, Didcot and the Vale

Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, Wallingford and Thame.

Getting around: The A34 is the county's spine, Didcot to Oxford in twenty minutes; the M40 clips the north past Bicester and Banbury, and the A40 heads west to Witney. Oxford to Banbury is about forty minutes, and London is an hour on the train.

Meeting up: Oxford's pubs and bars are the obvious meeting ground for the whole county, and Reading, Swindon and Milton Keynes are all within an easy drive for members on the edges.
