Where Devon members are

Devon has more members than any county in England, and they split four ways. Plymouth and Exeter are the two big centres, Torbay and Newton Abbot make a third cluster on the south coast, and North Devon, around Barnstaple and Bideford, has a smaller group of its own. The villages in between add plenty more.

Single men lead by a wide margin, couples come second, and Devon's single women are a bigger group than most counties can claim.

Exeter and East Devon

Exeter and Alphington, Exmouth and Topsham, Honiton, Sidmouth, Cullompton and Tiverton.

Plymouth and the South Hams

Plymouth and Mannamead, Tavistock, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and South Brent.

Torbay and Teignbridge

Torquay, Paignton, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Dawlish.

North Devon

Barnstaple, Bideford, Appledore and South Molton.

Getting around: The M5 ends at Exeter, and the A38 carries on to Plymouth in about forty-five minutes. The A380 drops down to Torbay, the A30 crosses to Okehampton and Cornwall, and the A361 link road reaches Barnstaple in an hour.

Meeting up: Exeter is where East Devon and Torbay members tend to meet, Plymouth for the south and west. North Devon is far enough from both that members there usually meet each other.
