Preston is the biggest single centre for Lancashire members, with Leyland, Chorley and Penwortham around it. The Fylde coast comes next, Blackpool especially, then the East Lancashire towns from Blackburn and Accrington through to Burnley and Nelson. Lancaster and Morecambe make up a smaller group in the north.

Getting around: The M6 runs up the middle of the county, the M55 branches off to Blackpool and the M65 heads east to Blackburn and Burnley. Preston to Blackpool is half an hour, Preston to Burnley forty-five minutes, and Lancaster is twenty-five minutes up the M6.
Meeting up: Preston sits at the junction of all three motorways, which makes it the easiest place for members from different parts of the county to meet halfway. Blackpool has the most bars, if you don't mind the crowds.
