Getting around: The M62 runs across the south of the county and the M1 up the east side, with Leeds and Bradford twenty-five minutes apart on the A647 or by train. Huddersfield to Leeds is half an hour, Halifax a little more, and Wakefield fifteen minutes down the M1.
Meeting up: everything in West Yorkshire is within an hour of everything else, so searching across the whole county is realistic. Leeds has the most places to meet; Bradford and Huddersfield are handier for the west.
