Jersey City and the rest of Hudson County account for most of New Jersey's members, close enough to Manhattan to see it. Bedminster and the Somerset County hills are a surprising second, then Essex and Union counties, the Shore towns, and South Jersey in Philadelphia's orbit.
The group is small but unusually balanced: couples first, single men close behind, and single women not far off, the majority of them under 35.

Getting around: The Turnpike and the Parkway run the length of the state; Hudson County to the Shore is about an hour, and to South Jersey closer to two. PATH trains put Jersey City minutes from Manhattan, and South Jersey members are half an hour from Center City Philadelphia.
Meeting up: a lot of New Jersey first dates happen across the river, in Manhattan or Philadelphia, where nobody has to worry about bumping into a neighbor. Hudson County has plenty of its own bars for those who'd rather stay local.
