Where California members are
For a state this size, California's group is smaller than you might expect, and it's concentrated in Southern California. Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley lead, the Inland Empire and Orange County follow, and San Diego adds a few. In the north, the Bay Area and Sacramento each have a modest group, with a sprinkling down the Central Valley.
Couples still come first, but California stands out for its single women, who are nearly as numerous as the single men. Most of those women are under 35.

The Inland Empire and the High Desert

Orange County and San Diego
Anaheim, Garden Grove and Fountain Valley, then San Diego and Bonita down the coast.
Northern California
San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara and Mountain View, the East Bay from Lafayette to Antioch, and Sacramento, Rio Linda and the towns down Highway 99.
Getting around: Inside Southern California the freeways do the sorting: the 405 and the 10 across LA, the 60 and the 10 out to the Inland Empire, the 15 up to the High Desert, the 5 down to San Diego in two hours. LA to the Bay Area is six hours on I-5, and Sacramento another hour and a half beyond that.
Meeting up: California is really several regions, and members rarely cross from one to another for a first meet. Set your search radius to your part of the state and let the freeways decide the rest.
