Getting around: Lincoln is the hub, with the A46 running up from Newark to Grimsby and the A15 north to the Humber Bridge; the A1 follows the western edge. Lincoln to Grimsby is about an hour, Lincoln to Boston an hour on the A17, and Skegness a slow hour and a half from almost anywhere.
Meeting up: with members this spread out, most Lincolnshire first meets involve a proper drive. Lincoln is the natural choice for the middle of the county; Humber-bank members often find Hull closer.
