Getting around: The M20 runs from London through Maidstone to Folkestone and the M2 through Medway to Canterbury; Medway to Maidstone is twenty minutes, and London is forty-five minutes by train from most of the county. The A2 and A20 carry on to the coast.
Meeting up: Kent members often meet halfway in Maidstone or Canterbury, and plenty go up to London for a first drink where nobody knows them.
